KEYNOTE SPEAKER
Ryan Hall, commonly known by his online nickname Ryan Hall, Y’all, is an American meteorological analyst and YouTube personality. He is best known for his weather forecast discussions, a weather model commentary show centered on forecasting short term and long term weather events.
Ryan started creating weather videos online when he was only 14 years old. He created a website that aimed to predict school closings in his local area and drew thousands of visitors per season. His current YouTube channel, “Ryan Hall, Y’all” was created in 2012. However, no content was actually uploaded to this channel until January of 2021, when he started making his weather themed videos.
In 2014, Ryan worked for a local CBS affiliate known as “WYMT”. Ryan worked as a part of the production crew, as well as in the weather center. Even though he accumulated invaluable experience and knowledge under the guidance of Chief Meteorologist Shane Smith, Ryan learned that doing TV weather was not his calling. Therefore, Ryan quit working at the TV station to pursue other ventures. Ryan’s traditional green screen performance can be sampled here:
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys amateur radio & listening to music. He earned his first ham radio license at the age of 16.
